I really like this series for beginning singers who have already had some singing experience (like in a school choir) and are interested in more classical repertoire. Each book features songs in English, Italian, French and German, with singable English texts for the Italian, French and German songs. The pieces are from the standard vocal repertoire and are well suited for the developing singer. The book is now available with a CD of vocal accompaniments which is really handy.
